What is Defensikan®?
Defensikan® is highly purified natural substance, the compex of biologically active polysaccharides obtained through the isolation from Pleurotus ostreatus.
How does Defensikan® work?
Defensikan® passes unchanged into the small intestine. In the small intestine it reaches immunocompetent cells in Peyer’s patches that play an important role in identifying and generating immune response. Receptors on the surface of immune cells can easily detect Defensikan®. After binding to receptors Defensikan® activates a burst of immune response which gradually leads to activation of defense mechanisms in the whole organism.
